Air is a mixture of gases, 78% nitrogen and 21% oxygen with traces of water vapour, carbon dioxide, argon, and various other components. Three properties of air are : it has weight, can be compressed and takes up space.
The aim of this experiment is to demonstrate two of these properties.
Learning Outcomes
- This kit helps in demonstrating that air is “matter” as it has weight and it occupies space.
- Teachers can clearly illustrate the concept of air to class with the help of this manipulative.
- Correlation between theory and practical becomes easier
